In our “Christmas Stories” concert on December 18, the Maple City Community Orchestra and the Elkhart Community Chorus collaborated to celebrate the music of Christmastime!
The MCCO performed the Polar Express Concert Suite and Samuel Coleridge-Taylor’s Christmas Overture, and we were joined by the Elkhart Community Chorus in performing selections from Handel’s Messiah and Sleigh Ride by Leroy Anderson.
As with all MCCO concerts, this event was free and open to the public. It was also streamed live 🎧 from the Goshen College Music Center.

October 16 marked the Maple City Community Orchestra’s first concert of the 2022-2023 season with our new Music Director Victoria Petrak!
We performed works by Beethoven, Jennifer Higdon, Amy Beach, and Soon He Newbold.
All MCCO concerts are free and open to the public.

Afterward, you are warmly invited to a public reception in appreciation of Brian Mast’s 20 years as Music Director and Conductor! Admission is free and open to the public. 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, May 7, at the Goshen College Music Center in Sauder Concert Hall.

Join the Maple City Community Orchestra, and special guest soloist Amy Kauffman (of the Metropolitan Opera Orchestra) as we present an afternoon of chamber music, including works from Haydn and Mendelssohn. The concert, as always, is FREE and open to the public.
